GRADUATION INFORMATION—Class of 2013
CAP and GOWN DISTRIBUTION
Thursday, April 25 at Senior Institute Day
Caps and Gowns will be distributed at the end of the Institute Day. Please try them on promptly so that any problems can be corrected. Hang them up immediately at home. All outstanding school fees (bookstore charges, library fines, etc.) must be paid in order to receive your cap and gown.
GRADUATION PRACTICE and TICKET DISTRIBUTION
Thursday, May 16; Noon-2pm
Saint John Neumann Church in Saint Charles
Attendance is mandatory; practice will not begin until all are present. FIVE graduation tickets will be issued to each graduate; there is no waiting list for extra tickets. If you will not use all of your tickets, please make plans to share with other families who might need them. There will be an opportunity after Graduation Practice for students to give extra tickets to those who need them.

2:00pm Graduates lineup in Hermes Hall; Guests gather in Hoffmann Hall
2:30pm Church doors open for assembly seating
2:55pm Graduates process into church
3:00pm Graduation Mass and Commencement Exercises begin
Graduate Dress Code
Girls: Dress or skirt/dress pants with a coordinating top (bold colors and patterns are not recommended, since robes are translucent white), and dress shoes or dress sandals (hosiery is optional). NO distracting hairstyles or visible body piercing, except earrings.
Boys: Dress pants, dress shirt and tie, and dress shoes with dress socks.
Boys should be clean shaven with NO visible body piercing.
Top 10 students are encouraged to wear their medals.
Members of NHS, French and Spanish Honors Societies should plan to wear braids/cords.
Kairos crosses may be worn.
Wheelchair and Handicap Access
Family and friends with handicap accessibility needs will receive priority seating; please contact Michael Page ( mpage@sfhsnet.org ) NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MAY 10 to make arrangements. We will be unable to accommodate special seating requests on the day of Graduation. Due to the limited availability of handicap accessible seating, only one family member or assistant will be able to accompany those with special seating needs; all other guests will be seated in the assembly.
Alumni and Current Student Ministers
Alumni and Current Students are invited to serve as Hospitality Ministers for Graduation. Please contact Michael Page ( mpage@sfhsnet.org ) NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MAY 3 to make arrangements.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING
The Church is located on Route 64 ( North Avenue)/ East Main Street between Kirk Road and Dunham Road. The parking lot is accessible on the south side of the Church off Route 64 (North Avenue), from Fox Field Road on the north side, and Kirk Road on the east side.

SERVICE HOUR REQUIREMENT REMINDER
Seniors who have not fulfilled their Service Project graduation requirement will be required to attend school Thursday, May 16, and Friday, May 17. All questions should be directed to your student’s Religion teacher or Diane Mercadante, Director of Pastoral Ministry, at (630) 668-5800 (1148).
Transportation
All students must use transportation provided by st. Francis.
Ticket Sales : April 24 – April 30
$110 for individual or $220 for couples’ tickets sold in the Student Union during C & E lunch.
Only Juniors or Seniors may purchase tickets. The Prom Parent Information sheet must also be signed and handed in when purchasing Prom tickets. Personal checks will be accepted but please no credit cards.
