Upcoming Events

See It Differently, Chicago!

You are set to join us for an awesome experience that will satisfy your service requirement for the year while providing you with the opportunity to stay overnight in Chicago and participate in a variety of service experiences with your friends.

  • When : Friday, November 11th-Saturday, November 12th. The SFHS van will leave school at 2:45pm Friday and return by 5:00pm on Saturday. Meet at Door 19.
  • Where : Brother David Darst Center, Bridgeport neighborhood in Chicago
  • Bring comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. You may be outside so dress for the weather!
  • Linens and towels are provided

FAITH AND FELLOWSHIP PEACEBUILDING PROJECT
Faith and Fellowship is a ministry that seeks to meet the spiritual needs of the mentally ill by working together with this group to reach out and learn firsthand about persons with prolonged mental illness, and how to interact with them to meet their needs for spirituality and friendship. Faith and Fellowship is directed by Connie Rakitan and is hosted at St. Catherine of Sienna-St. Lucy in Oak Park.

MARIANJOY IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

Our neighbors at Marianjoy are looking for student volunteers to work in areas of patient transport, reception, gift shop, physical or occupational therapy, medical library, dietary, Eucharistic Ministers and more. They hope to have volunteers that will commit to three or four hours per week. A formal application and training is available. Applications are also available in the Pastoral Ministry Department from Mrs. Mercadante.
