WHERE DO THE 6,839 ST. FRANCIS ALUMNI LIVE?
St. Francis Alumni live all over the United States (except for North Dakota.) The number on each state indicates the number of alumni who live there. There are a total of 6,839 living alumni.

(156 Deceased that we know of). We do not know the whereabouts of 714 of our alumni and 29 of our alumni live out of the country.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The St. Francis Alumni Association, with 6,839 current members, was founded in 1989 to promote better communication and social interaction among its alumni. In the summer of 1994, the first issue of the "Spartan Spectacle," (currently the "St. Francis Focus"), was mailed to all S.F.H.S. alumni. This newsletter which is a publication of the Development Office, is sent out twice a year to inform alumni of upcoming events and class reunions, of current happenings at the school and most importantly, to allow them to keep up with their fellow Spartans.

Alumni have also gathered for sock hops, comedy club nights, alumni basketball games and evenings at a Kane County Cougars baseball game. St. Francis High School's annual "Givin' of the Green" is supported by many alumni who either donate to or attend the evening auction and dinner dance. In addition, many alumni have returned to the Wheaton campus to speak at career days, assist with sports physicals, help out with theater productions, and most notably, to teach or coach at their alma mater. We currently have eight alumni on staff. Each year the number of second generation "Spartans" continues to grow. 68 children of alumni are enrolled for 2003/2004. There are 68 alumni who have children here. Some of these alumni have more that one child here and some of these alumni children have alumni couples as parents. These numbers speak for themselves as alumni involvement continues to be an important part of our endeavors to educate young men and women for the future.
