ADMISSIONS -

Class of 2018 (Current 7th Grade Students):

Current 7th graders are now shadowing on campus at St. Francis High School. It is a great process to have your student shadow both now and in the fall as an 8th grade student. They learn how to get the most out of their investigation of Catholic Education by going into their 8th grade shadow day having already done it before. We have dates available now through April 18th.

To register for a shadow day click the link below: or contact our admissions office at the number below.

Class of 2017 (Current 8th Grade Students):

We have completed our 8th grade entrance exam for the year and are currently in the process of selecting our new freshman class which will become the St. Francis High School class of 2017.

If you missed the exam, or tested at another school but would still like to apply for admissions to St. Francis High School, please contact our admissions office:

The Entrance Exam for the Class of 2018 will be held
on January 11, 2014 at 8:00 AM.

An entrance exam is required for all eighth grade students interested in applying for admission to St. Francis High School. If you do not take the entrance exam on-site at St. Francis, but would like to apply for admission, you may send us the results of your entrance exam taken at another school. However, invitations into the school are awarded to those qualified students testing at our site first. Due to the dramatically increasing interest in St. Francis High School as the number one choice in private Catholic education here in the western suburban area, we are anticipating a very large number of students making St. Francis High School their primary testing location. Please make St. Francis your first choice and test at our site to make certain you can earn your space in our wonderful school.

Please note that most high schools within the Joliet Diocese hold their annual entrance exam on the same date. There is a $35.00 testing fee and there will be a registration deadline. The St. Francis Entrance Exam form is available online in a pdf format. It can be printed, completed and returned to St. Francis along with 7th grade report cards and the $35 testing fee.

Each year, St. Francis High School awards over $30,000 in scholarships to incoming freshmen. Although the criteria to apply for individual scholarships may vary slightly, all awards are based on the applicants' achievements in academics, extracurricular activities and leadership. Please see our scholarships/financial aid page for further information.
