Thanks to a host of generous donors, last year
alone we awarded more than $30,000.00 in scholarships. Many of the
students who receive
scholarships would not have had the opportunity to attend St. Francis
without assistance. Applications are available and are due back
to us by March 1st.. If you feel you qualify for more than one scholarship,
then you may submit more than one application. All applications
must
be complete. The scholarships available are:

The President’s Scholarships are need-based scholarships. Those students
that qualify for financial aid through the Diocese of Joliet will also
be awarded the President's Scholarship. The amount will be determined based
on the value
of the endowment that funds this scholarship.

to qualify for financial aid.
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient
is an active participant in extracurricular activities and exhibits positive
behavior while attending St. Francis.

Note: One (1) $2,500 renewable scholarship is available for an incoming
freshman in the 2007/2008 school year.
A $2,500 renewable scholarship, established
by the Colbeth family, and given to one incoming freshman, one sophomore, one
junior, and one senior.
• Demonstrate significant financial need
• High School Entrance Exam taken at St. Francis (for incoming freshman)
• Maintained at least a “B” average in grade school (for incoming
freshman)
These scholarships may be renewed each year
if the scholarship recipient meets the criteria.

A $1,500 renewable scholarship is available for an incoming freshman based on academic excellence.
- High School Entrance Exam taken at St. Francis and score in the 90 th percentile
- 6 th, 7 th and 8 th grade report cards must reflect academic excellence
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient maintains at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and exhibits positive behavior while attending St. Francis.

A $1,500 renewable scholarship is available for an incoming freshman based on academic excellence in memory of Kay Finn, a long-time, dedicated SFHS staff member.

The Kazma Family Foundation will be providing a four-year renewable scholarship to students entering any of the Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Joliet. Twenty-five students will be selected based on financial need. . This scholarship is administered by the Catholic Education Foundation of the Diocese of Joliet.
