Tickets for the Turnabout Dance on February 11 will be sold during lunch beginning Monday, February 6 – 9. Tickets are $15.00 each.

Attention French travelers : There is a mandatory meeting this Thursday, February 9, at 6:50am in Madame Harsa's room. Don't be late or you'll miss the breakfast crepes!

Adventure Club will be going to Portillo's and a play downtown this Friday, February 10.  The play is called "Death and Harry Houdini."  Get your permission form from Ms. Fairhead.

Attention all Artist & Crafters; the ARTS & CRAFTS CLUB i s having a Valentine’s Day Craft Extravaganza  on Monday. So get ready for Valentine’s Day and join us making Valentines’ earring, hearts, cards and lots more. We will meet on Monday at 2.35 in the Conference Room in the Guidance Dept.  Everyone is welcome but registration is required. See Mrs. Rupp for more info

Righters, the Literary Arts magazine here at St. Francis, is sponsoring its annual creativity contest. A First Place Prize of $50 will be awarded to the best poem, short story, one act play, photo and painting. Submit your works either to your English or Art teacher or directly to Mr. Wall in Room 1111. The deadline for entering is Monday March 5. Create and win money!!

Do you enjoy writing? Are you a photographer?  Do you enjoy graphic design?  Would you like to become more involved in your school community?  If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then joining the school newspaper staff might be a great decision!  We are currently filling positions of staff writer, graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer for next school year.  See Ms. Fairhead if you're interested.

Here are some reminders if you’re donating blood tomorrow .

  • You will receive your appointment card tomorrow, Tuesday, inhomeroom. This will be your pass to go at your appointed time.
  • Eat a big breakfast and drink plenty of fluids before giving blood.
  • Bring a photo ID: your school ID is fine.
  • If you have not turned in your signed consent form, it can still be turned in to Mr. Lynch in room 1107 today.
